We exist to provide a lifeline for wildlife in need, serving as a beacon of hope for injured and vulnerable creatures.
We firmly believe that educating children today not only leads to a brighter future but also promotes conservation, enabling them to learn, teach, and actively participate in preserving our environment.
In the span of a single year, our devoted team of wildlife rescue volunteers came together with determination, giving a second chance to a remarkable total of 606 animals in need.
In the past year, our team worked tirelessly to rescue a variety of animals. We saw our share of everything from newborn baby squirrels to Sandhill Cranes, snakes to songbirds, otters, and armadillos. We even had the opportunity to save several endangered species, and look forward to what we may encounter in the next year.

Although we primarily serve the 4 counties surrounding the Ocala area (Marion, Citrus, Sumter, and Lake Counties), over the last year our volunteers traveled hours away to save a single animal, and to transport wildlife to our rehab partners and veterinarians.
One of the core elements of our mission is to provide education to the community about the wonders of wildlife and untouched environments. In the past 12 months, we engaged in 39 educational events, including activities such as setting up informational booths at local events and delivering presentations to homeschooling groups, summer camps, as well as clubs and private organizations.
